Smartwriters.com A terrific resource site for children's book writers, illustrators and teachers. Authorlink For those of us who can't read enough articles about writing, this site offers more. Verla Kay's website Check out the transcripts page for lots of good interviews with agents, editors and authors/illustrators. Education World A site geared toward teachers, offering information about state and national education standards- helpful when trying to figure out how your book might fit into school curriculum. Publisher's Weekly Stay up to date with what's happening in the publishing world. The Horn Book Articles and reviews from the magazine. It's worth the price of a subscription, too. |
